Herewith you can find an explanation notice under the article 13th of Italian d.lgs. n.196/2003 in matter of "Code for protection of the personal data" relative to the website of the CBI Consortium (namely, CBI), located at  http://www.cbi-org.eu

The informative takes into account also the Recommendation n. 2/2001 that the European authorities for the protection of personal data have adopted in order to characterize a set of minimal requirements for the online collection of personal data. The informative notice is relative only to the CBI Consortium website and it does not regard any other website in case accessed by the customer through external links.

The Owner of the treatment is the CBI Consortium - Customer to Business Interaction, with legal headquarter in Piazza del Gesù 49, 00186 Rome, and operating center in Via del Gesù, 62, 00186 Rome.

Treatments connected to the web services of this website are cared only by personnel in charge of the treatment, or by possible people in charge of occasional operations of maintenance or technical management.

The access to the website does not require the entry of the own name and address, but - relatively to the restricted areas for users - only the access codes received through individual electronic correspondence (email). No data originating from the web service is communicated or diffused. The information systems and the software procedures aimed at guaranteeing the website efficiency are able to acquire, in the course of their ordinary exercise, some data whose transmission is automatic in the use of the Internet protocols and are not associated to interested parties. It mainly concerns data inherent to IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by the customers who connect themselves to the website and other automatic information sent out by the programs which manage the logons. These data are furnished with the only purpose of granting user logon.

The website allows the optional and voluntary shipment of e-mail to the CBI Consortium addresses indicated on the same website, in such cases it will be acquired the e-mail address of the sender together with all the necessary information in order to answer the user requests.

It does not imply the use of cookies for the transmission of personal information, neither the use of any kind of "persistent cookies", addressed to the customers tracking, with the only exception for the session cookies which eliminate themselves at the browser log-out. In order to enter the reserved access pages and in order to receive the CBI Consortium newsletter a registration on the website is requested.

All the collected information including possible personal data are treated by automated means only for the time which is closely necessary to achieve the scopes which they have been collected for. The systems are equipped with all the opportune and necessary security measures in order to prevent the loss of the data, illegal or incorrect uses and unauthorised accesses. The customers to whom the personal data refer obtain all the rights contemplated by the art. 7th of Italian d.lgs. n.196/2003, among which the right to verify their origin, the correctness, to ask for amendment or cancellation, the block of their personal data. Such rights must be explicitly requested to the Owner.
