CBI at EBAday 2026: innovation and security at the core of the payments revolution

CBI is taking part in EBAday 2026, one of the leading international events dedicated to payments and transaction banking, which brings together key players from across the global industry every year. In an ever-evolving landscape, attending EBAday means engaging with financial institutions, fintechs, and top-tier operators, while seizing new opportunities for collaboration and growth.

CBI will be present at the event with a dedicated desk (E16) and a team of experts who will showcase the CBI offering, developed to address the latest developments in the target market.

Additionally, on Tuesday 16 June at 15:45, CBI’s General Manager, Liliana Fratini Passi, will take part in the panel “Real-time revolution: Rebuilding the payments landscape”, focused on the changes observed in the euro area nine months after the entry into force of the Instant Payments Regulation. During the panel, CBI will present the experience of CBI Name Check, the service that enables the prior verification of the beneficiary, a key element introduced by the Instant Payments Regulation. A solution already recognized by the domestic market as a systemic benchmark, strengthening transaction security and contributing to the development of a more reliable and advanced payments ecosystem.
