CBILL for pagoPA

CBILL Service

CBILL is an online advisory and payment service available to everyone. It connects directly to your own bank (as long as your bank participates in the public payment scheme) and allows you to settle payment requests issued by the Public Administration as part of the pagoPA project.

CBILL is one of the authorised pagoPA channels, an initiative launched by the Agency for Digital Italy belonging to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and aimed at stepping up digitalisation nationwide.

The CBILL Service is valid for any Public Administration institute participating in the pagoPA programme. It is a straightforward, rapid and safe system enabling citizens to pay what they owe online, including road tax, fines, taxes, healthcare prescription charges, school canteen fees and any other amount due for other public-sector services. With the CBILL Service, citizens can settle their dues with the Public Administration straight from their internet banking account, and for participating banks, even from a cash machine, using mobile banking services or over a normal bank counter. This does not only make for better relations between banking institutions and the Public Administration, but it also provides ordinary citizens with vanguard and efficient payment services.

A list of the Public-sector institutions using pagoPA is available for viewing on the site of the Agency for Digital Italy, as is the list of Payment Service Providers (PSP) taking part in the initiative.

On the other hand, the site www.cbill.it provides a list of the Public Administration Institutes and Financial Intermediaries who already take part in the pagoPA scheme via the CBILL Service.
