Improving the Italian SMEs competitiveness: optimizing of logistic, trading and financial processes

About Us

CBI Conference for the "SME Week 2010"

Palazzo Altieri, Piazza del Gesù, 49 - Roma
27th of May 2010, 8.30 - 14.30
Organized by
CBI Consortium

The event aims at informing and forming the SMEs on how to improve their competitiveness optimizing logistic-trading-financial processes.

In this scenario of global economic crisis, mainly affecting the "made in" sector, the enterprises that cannot rely on management costs reduction (such as staff and materials expenses) can take advantage of the efficiencies resulting from the dematerialization of internal processes, introducing also the use of electronic invoice. It also enables the enterprises to have access to advanced financial services, given by banks through the corporate banking interbanking channel.

CBI represents a further efficiency channel in the dialogue between enterprises and Public Administration, also in regard of the obligation for the enterprises dealing with the PA services to use the electronic invoice (at the moment the technical laws are still not been settled by the Tax Agency).

The conference "Improving the Italian SMEs competitiveness: optimizing of logistic, trading and financial processes", will take place on the 27th of May in Rome, Palazzo Altieri, starting at 8.30 a..

The partecipation is free.

In due time all the information concerning the event will be available.

What the iniziative SME Week is

Since last year, the European Commission has organized an initiative, called "SME WeeK" ( European week for the Small and Medium Enterprises), created as a tool of promotion and coordination of some events organized within the European Union (UE), aimed at reinforcing the entrepreneurial spirit and promoting the local and European politics in behalf of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

European SME Week 2010, which will take place from 25th May to 1st June 2010, aims to:

- provide information on what the EU and national, regional and local authorities are offering as support to micro, small and medium-sized businesses;
- promote entrepreneurship so that more people, and in particular younger ones, seriously consider becoming an entrepreneur as a career option;
- give recognition to entrepreneurs for their contribution to Europe's welfare, jobs, innovation and competitiveness.
