CBI infrastructure, SEPA compliance and e-invoicing community: new opportunities for enterprises and P.A.

The CBI Conference has already represented for several years the Italian benchmark for the whole international Interbank Corporate Banking community, acting as a meeting point and as a platform for updates and discussions, where structural, technological, strategic and business development lines are debated and outlined.

The Corporate Banking market is extremely competitive and the competition is becoming increasingly globalized. The difference can be made only by an offer of developed and groundbreaking services, capable to make possible for banks a rapid business development, efficiency, costs cut, interoperability and an international positioning; for enterprises, higher security levels, quickness, document management, compatibility and flexibility.

The Service of Interbank Corporate Banking, managed by the CBI (Customer to Business Interaction) Consortium and offered by the 690 Consortium members (95% of the banking system and Poste Italiane Plc) is the result of the effort of the banking and entrepreneurial sectors to meet these needs while guaranteeing not only the rationalisation and the simplification of current accounts of the firm with a group of banks, but also making available a technological infrastructure which allows for the first time to convey Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Government (B2G) services in a totally fresh way, reaching a new level.

The Conference, that will take place on the 10th and the 11th of December, organised by ABI (Italian Banking Association) and CBI Consortium, will explore these scenarios, delving deeper both into the business and technical aspects of the Interbank Corporate Banking and of e-invoice and into the commercial and strategic impacts. By doing so, the above mentioned Conference will provide banks, enterprises and P.A. with an all-round and effective framework through the contribution of many Italian and international speakers and the exchange of expertise and know-how among the most important market players.

Among the key topics, the CBI Conference will give an insight about:

  • The CBI as system infrastructure
  • The service of "Nodo CBI" in relation with the P.A.
  • The European standpoint on E-invoicing
  • The Business to Business E-invoice
  • The developments of the CBI network
  • The CBI interoperability against the international backdrop
  • The new CBI services and SEPA compliance
  • CBI and PSD
  • The ISO standardisation works
