CBI has
established liaisons with stakeholders and decision-makers on both national and
international levels, in order to share the system's policies. This is aimed at
guaranteeing maximum compliance with the international scenario. The constant
monitoring at internationally acknowledged operating assemblies resulted in the
following participations:
European Commission
- Expert Group on E-invoice: a workgroup set up by the European Commission
to define the rules and models required to make SEPA payment schemes
interoperable with e-invoicing solutions; Ms. Fratini Passi, Secretary General
of the CBI Consortium, participates as the sole delegate for Italy.
European Payment Council
- SPS STF (SEPA Payment Scheme Standard Task Force): this Task Force was set up in
the SEPA
ambit
with the objective of maintaining the SEPA guidelines and standards (Credit
Transfer, Direct Debit), whilst promoting homogeneity on the Customer-to-bank
section within a EU ambit.
- SSG / SPTF (Standards Support Group / Security of Payments Task Force):
the Security of Payments Task Force (SPTF), set up within the EPC, defines the
recommendations to ensure security of payments.
- SSG / SPTF EPC SPS EMTF (Standards Support Group / Security of Payments
Task Force/ eMandate Task Force): the eMandate Task Force was set up in the EPC
to elaborate a specific model for managing the SEPA Direct Debit electronically
(known as "eMandate").
ISO 20022
- RMG (Registration Management Group): this group was
set up in ISO 20022 aimed at evaluating requests for registration to the ISO
20022 Repository for standards of financial messages.
- Payments and Trade Services SEG (Standard Evaluation
Group): this group deals with the technical evaluation of standards to be
included in the ISO 20022 Repository; this group will analyse the einvoicing standard
to be registered following the initiative of UN/CEFACT in the ISO 20022
Repository.
CEN Workshop - E-invoice Phase 2
- (European Committee for Standardisation): the
CEN plenary Workshop on e-Invoices defined high-level standards aimed at
guaranteeing an interoperability of e-invoicing functions in Europe, as far as
the normative, commercial and standardisation aspects are concerned.
UN/CEFACT - TBG5
- (United Nation Centre for Trade Facilitation
and Electronic Business / Trade & Business Processes Group): this workgroup
deals with standardisation requirements of the Finance sector; and has
initiated the registration of e-invoice standards in the ISO 20022 Repository.
EBA - Electronic invoicing working Group (EIWG):
- this group has the objective of establishing a
concrete and operative proposal concerning the exchange of e-invoices at a
national and international level.
