Marketplace

E-Market Place is the definition used to refer to all regulatory and technological infrastructures being the meeting place of the demand and supply of parties operating in virtual Business to Business market places (B2B) the management of which can be carried out by a firm taking the role and functions of Manager. More specifically, the service provided by the E-Market Place allows commercial operators to communicate the offering of goods and services in order to conclude transactions with other operators who also use the MP service, and to regulate the compensation relevant to the these transactions.

The operativity of the CBI Service has been the object of specific in-depth analysis by the Association. The purpose of such analysis was to verify if Clients who perform commercial transactions in virtual B2B markets could be given the possibility to directly transfer relevant payment and collection orders in the CBI system through a Gateway Bank in charge of performing collection and payment orders on behalf of the parties in the transactions, and to send such orders to other banks, where the operators have an account.

The services provided by CBI also include payments against operations originated within MP, defined as MP Function, based on the consideration that only this service provides the real possibility of transferring payment orders in relation to MP operations along with relevant statements and balance flows.
