The Directory is that part of the New CBI Architecture aimed at collecting relevant information concerning the members of CBI Consortium ( roles, provided or accessible services, etc.). The Directory is characterised by specific "business" rules.
The CBI Community consists of all those bodies (Banks, Clients, Technical Subjects, Access points, other bodies) who join the New Architecture and provide/use the related services.. In order to interact, these bodies have to be aware of the identification number of their counterparties.
In this sense, the information contained in the Directory - available upon request of the bodies belonging to the Community, according to well defined, complying to the norm criteria - allow to address requests of services and related answers within the boundary of the Functions provided by CBI.
The identification of the Consortium members is made possible throughout the assignation by the CBI Consortium of a CBI Proprietary Unique Code (CUC).
